Time To Get Manly 40: Guns N' Roses - Appetite For Destruction

I randomly ran across a list of what Esquire magazine claims are "The 75 Albums Every Man Should Own." In this series of posts, I'll explore these manly, manly sounds.

Guns N' Roses - Appetite For Destruction

Unlike some of the posers on the Sunset Strip, Guns N' Roses didn't just talk the talk - they also walked the walk. The walk being one filled with filth, degradation, danger, destruction, excess and chaos. And that is all captured on Appetite For Destruction - a record that still sounds as bad ass today as it did in 1987. Although I can't hear "Sweet Child O' Mine" and not think of this.
