Ramones - Road to Ruin
Between the selection of this and Combat Rock, I'm really wondering who Esquire's punk rock consultant was for this list. I'm not even some kind of crazy punk purist, but I can't see why anybody would choose Road to Ruin over any of the band's first three records. Even the inclusion of "I Wanna Be Sedated" and "Needles and Pins" (one of my favorites) isn't reason enough. Get the self titled debut or Rocket To Russia. Even their iconic album covers are more manly than Road To Ruin's cartoon pic.
