I randomly ran across a list of what Esquire magazine claims are "The 75 Albums Every Man Should Own." In this series of posts, I'll explore these manly, manly sounds.

The Cars - The Cars

Esquire's claim that the debut record by the Cars "plays like a greatest hits record" is exactly right. Each song is catchy and fun, and six of the nine tracks were radio staples, and the ones that weren't totally could have been. Men can also look at Rick Ocasek as living proof that they too might someday land a nineteen year old Czech-Amercan supermodel, regardless of their looks.
