So my girlfriend bought me Mozipedia: The Encyclopedia of Morrissey and the Smiths by Simon Goddard for Christmas... This can only get me into trouble. As if I weren't obsessed enough, I'm now reading an A- Z account of all things Morrissey and Smiths related. Don't expect to see me for awhile... Or if you do, expect me to talk about Morrissey. Or to find some way to bring any subject you bring up around to Morrissey. I'm going to be the life of the party.
Though I'm only just starting on "C" (and YES, I'm reading it A-Z with no skipping around) I've learned some very important things so far. For instance, how much Morrissey loved Bea Arthur and Cagney & Lacey. But I already loved those things too. Shirley Bassey on the other hand... Wow. Just listen to these songs (two of Morrissey's favorites), and tell me she doesn't remind you of a female Scott Walker. Outstanding.
